We're back from our weekend trip!!
Kirk was back from work at 5pm on Friday. We got ready and set off abt 5.45pm. Like I said before, I didn't know where we were heading to. So in the car, I asked, "How long will the journey take?". He said, "Abt 2 hrs...". Hmmmmmm.
As I sat in the car, I realised that he was driving towards Sunshine Coast. After another 15 mins, I asked again, "Where are we going?" He replied, "It's a pretty popular destination..if you guess it correctly, you'll get to sleep in the room." Then I said, "What if I guessed it wrongly?". He replied, "Then, you gotta sleep on the floor....". So I tot, I better just shut up and go with the flow.
But then again...I'm not that dumb. I mean...I can clearly read the road signs and signboards. At one point, I yelled out, "We're going to Noosa Heads....rite?". He kept silent...but there and then, I knew our intended destination. We drove...and drove...and reached Culgoa Point Beach Resort at abt 8.15pm.
So sweet of him! He sure knows that I'm a practical person. Unlike some girls, I'd prefer a short trip like this as compared to maybe a $5,000 diamond ring for a wedding anniversary present simply cos you get to enjoy the time with the other half and get to see new places at the same time.
We shopped (spent the whole of Sat morning at Eumundi Markets), ate (BBQ stuff mostly and lots of ice-cream) and lazed around alot (waddling in the heated swimming ppol and sauna). What's great is also the fact that the resort was relatively quiet......and we got the place pretty much to ourselves. I thoroughly enjoyed myself!!! Thanks so much darling! Love u...
