Kirk was in one of his 'I wanna do some gardening' moods today and decided to cut off the succulents in the front lawn and trim the palm trees at the pergola area.
As he was making a mess with the trimming of the palms, he suddenly saw a small nest on the palm leaves, towards the back of the tree. What's in there? 2 newborn birdies.... The mother might have flown away when Kirk was busy cutting the leaves. The birds' feathers are not fully developed yet and you can clearly see the fresh skin. They looked kinda cute though.
So as not to harm the birds and its nest, we decided to leave the weathered palm leaves at the back of the tree alone....although they seriously need a trimming!!!!!!!!
