The topic of the day is 'Remote Controls'. How many do u guys actually use at home? In our plc, we have 5 main remote controls that we use pretty much on a daily basis. I know 5 remote controls sound pretty normal, ain't it?? But get this...I actually need to use 3 remote controls just to make sure I can watch tv!!!
If you can see the pics above, the remote controls are in the following sequence (starting from the left):
(1) Remote Control for the Xbox 360
(2) Remote Control for the High Definition Signal
(3) Remote Control for the DVD Player
(4) Remote Control for the Amplifiers
(5) Remote Control for the TV
In order to watch tv, I'll need to use Remote Control (5) - to turn on the tv, then use Remote Control (2) - to get High Definition Signal and lastly followed by Remote Control (4) - for volume control. To change channels, I need to use Remote Control (2) and to adjust volume, I'll need to use Remote Control (4). So much work just to get the tv working!!! I may have lost some of u along the way...but yeah, that's how troublesome it is for me. Its a normal thing to see 3 remote controls being laid side by side of each other to ensure easy adjustment.
At times, some buttons get accidentally pressed and the channels will go haywire and I won't know which remote control to use to get things rite!!! At times, I even gave up the idea of watching tv at all after thinking abt all the hassle I have to go through. I'd rather stick with the pooter...Thank U!.
But then again, without them...I'll prolly complain too....So the only solution is a universal remote control .....which I'm not sure if it really exists to control all the above at one go!!
