Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!
I feel like a prisoner in my home these days. Simply due to my countless encounters with lizards in my house. Lizards these days are getting bolder than ever before. When I was still staying with my grandparents in the kampung house, lizards are all over the ceiling. But now, these lizards are crawling all over the house floor. Yes, on the house floor and in broad daylight!!!!!
My phobia of lizards didnt happen overnight. I've been scared of lizards since god knows when. But wat i do remember is that there was one incident at my old Bukit Batok house that made me really terrified of lizards. I was still in primary school then and on that very day, I was in the toilet taking a sh** (the toilet had a squat...so i was squatting). Out of nowhere, 2 lizards jumped of from the ceiling and dropped right in front of me. Though I was having a terrible stomachache at that point, I totally forgot abt it and slammed through the foldable toilet door. I ran out of the toilet bottomless with no sense of shame watsoever. I just needed to get away from nasty lizards.
And what a wonderful day it was!! Just today alone, I had 2 scary encounters with 2 Mr L....
First encounter: I was in my bedroom doing work as always. The phone suddenly rang. I walked towards the the side table where the telephone is placed. And out of the blue, a lizard came crawling from under the table towards me. I screamed and it went towards a different direction and hid under the tv console in the study room. I almost peed in my pants.
Second encounter: I was in the living room watching my afternoon tv shows. During one of the ads, I saw a lizard crawling in from underneath the house door towards the side table where the telephone is placed. Although scared, I ran to the kitchen to get the can of insert repellent and sprayed relentlessly underneath the table. Five minutes later, it came out from underneath the table and crawled towards the tv console in the study room (the same place the 1st lizard hid). And yes, I screamed like a mad woman and I'm sure my neighbour heard me loud and clear.
I'm now convinced that the side table is the lizards' port or 'hang out place'. This is not the first, second or third time. Its the 6th time. I can't take it any longer.
I'm going crazy in my own home. I had to turn on all the lights wherever I go in the house just so I dun step on them accidentally.
I need help! Anyone know how to get rid of lizards in the house without having to call the pest controllers???? Cos, I won't be able to take it any longer. I'm simply going insane!
