I'm terrible with goodbyes!

The blog title says it all. I'm just terrible with 'Goodbyes' and I'm not going to deny it.

Kirk and I have had countless 'Hello' and 'Goodbye' moments at the airports in the past 7 years. Despite that, saying 'Goodbye' will always be the hardest. I don't think anyone can ever get used to it. Especially so, when you're not just leaving 1 person...but a whole bunch of people...People you've grown up with...people you've played ard with...people you have had fun with..people you've gone to school with etc. Whats more, it'll no longer be a few weeks' escapades outside Singapore... It'll prolly be months or even years.

This is the very reason why I never liked people sending me off at the airport except for my parents. I could remember last August when some of aunts and cousins sent me off.....it was so hard to conceal my sadness cos literally EVERYONE was crying. Initially, I managed to maintain my composure but people started crying when they saw me hugging and kissing my dad. It's just no help at all having a family full of cry babies.

Over the years, my parents have gotten used to the idea of me leaving and so, although difficult, the 'Goodbye' scenario is easier to deal with. But when other family members join the 'fun', it just gets harder. Sigh!

Anyways, I don't wanna say anymore. I'm goin to dedicate this song to everyone I know (Click on the music bar to listen to the song). Let's look at this whole migrating situation on a bright side...It's not a goodbye but just a 'See You Later'.
