Our maiden attempt...

On Xmas day, Kirk and I decided to use the BBQ set that we bought a few weeks ago. We made ourselves some steak, lamb chops and grilled veges in balsamic vinegar.

It was great I must say....the activity added a bit more "thrill" to our usually mundane life. Would have been nicer if there were family or frens around to share the food.....but then again, we were contented with just each other's company.

The only downside is the cleaning up...!! We both spent almost an hour scrubbing the grill and the metal plates. Anyways, here are some pictures of the food.
