One Wednesday nite, we came home and found a Kmart pamphlet in our mail box and saw a 6 burner set which was on sale for $399 (Original pr: $599). We had our minds set on it and scurried ard on the weekend to several Kmart stores just to look for it. But sad thing was, we were told that the barberque set was already sold out. Well, I'm not surprised since they are selling it so cheap...for a 6 burner. That weekend, we came home dissapointed and empty-handed.
The following Wednesday, we came across another Kmart pamphlet promoting a titanium 6burner set for $479 (Orginial pr: $699). It was $80 more expensive than the last one but looked alot more sturdier. That very nite....our Singaporean kiasuness kicked in and we told each other that we'll go to Kmart the very next day after work. Waiting for the weekend to come around will most likely cause us another dissapointment and we didnt want to take the chance.
So as we promised each other, we went to Kmart at Morayfield...found the titanium 6 burner set and hurriedly went to the counter to check whether there's any stock. After a 20 min wait, we were told that they only have ONE set left. WHAT???....as kiasu as we were, we were left with only ONE set. There was a few dramas at the store in regards to the purchase....but what's important is the fact that we now have our OWN barbeque set.....Wooohoooo...
