Alot of u guessed it rite. But others guessed it wrongly. Well, the news is: I finally got my Australian Spouse Visa! Woooohoooooooooooooooooooo.....It's time to say Goodbye to neverending long-distance relationship and Hello to normal husband & wife relationship. Not that we're abnormal lar.....but u'll get the point!
This is the very day that I've been looking forward to but at the same time, it is the day that I've been dreading the most. It's great cos I get to be with Kirk "permanently" without having to come back to Singapore every few mths due to the restrictions of the Australian visa. We finally can stay together and start our life proper...together and not apart.
But at the same time, I will be leaving mum & dad, bros, my wonderful cousins, relatives, frens and etc. Let's face it...I'll no longer be away for 1 or 2 mths... it'll obviously be much longer than that..possibly even years. Gone are the comforts of home, easy access to cheap hawker foods, cheap bus/taxi/train rides and etc. And of cos, no more guilt-free shopping spree with Idah, Zihan and Emi. No more coffee meet-ups with the same people. Then again, thanks to technology, we will still be able to keep in contact via phone calls, sms and MSN.
I may not be able to make it for family's or fren's weddings all that often...but will try my best to come back at least for Idah's (gal, 4 more yrs rite??) or Emi's (if she ever......that is) weddings. So gals must inform me way in advance....like really way in advance.
Ok lar...this talk abt goodbyes is really making me emotional. Till tomorrow....
